As Momonosuke cries in fear of falling, Yamato tells Momonosuke to grab onto the clouds, because according to her, dragons don't actually fly dragons create clouds to use as footholds to move through the sky. Luffy then wraps his legs around Kaidou's neck, and Yamato quickly realizes that Luffy wants a one-on-one with Kaidou, so with that, she and Momonosuke jump off Onigashima. Kaidou refuses to let them go anywhere and charges for the both of them, as Yamato tries to encourage Momonosuke to get going, which he eventually does, with Yamato even blocking her father. Luffy calls to Yamato to help Momonosuke (who he still insults despite Momonosuke insisting he can't change on the dot), and Yamato agrees, jumping on Momonosuke's head. Yamato also clutches her head in pain due to not being able to block Kaidou's attack by herself. Down in the castle, everyone panics as rocks fall from the ceiling. On the roof, Yamato and Momonosuke watch in awe at Luffy and Kaidou's clash, and Yamato and Momonosuke remember Oden writing about how Roger and Whitebeard's clash split the heavens. He advises her and Wanda not to look at the moon or they will transform, just as he wonders how the skies parted and allowed the moon to return. They eventually end up outside of the Skull Dome, with King physically overwhelming Zoro but Zoro managing to cut open a small portion of King's mask.įollowing his victory, Nekomamushi covers his eyes to return to his normal form as Carrot hugs him in delight. Meanwhile, Zoro and King engage in powerful clashes that cause heavy collateral damage across the Live Floor. However, the two of them notice that Onigashima is crumbling due to Kaidou's strength weakening, and with the island heading to crush the Flower Capital in less than five minutes, Yamato tells Momonosuke to put a stop to it with his own Flame Clouds. With Yamato's help, Momonosuke grows more comfortable with generating Flame Clouds to keep them in the air. Luffy has Momonosuke take Yamato to safety as he resumes battling Kaidou one-on-one.
